Boreal + Woodward

⛷️ Boreal + Woodward “Go Time Tickets” ⛷️
🏆 National Ski Association Awards - 2022 Winner — “Most Unique Marketing Campaign” 🏆
🏆 Poppy Awards by California Tourism - 2022 Winner — “Best Business Recovery Campaign” 🏆
Background: COVID 19 brought a wave of challenges for a ski industry as people feared long lines or even entering the chalet to purchase lift tickets.
Idea: Go-Time Tickets — a new ticketing model for ski resorts to create contactless mountain access + deliver discounted prices and offer specific-timed access to limit the amount of riders, reduce lift lines, and create more open skiing.
Result: Go-Time Tickets was so successful that Woodward has extended it to all of its ski resorts — and it continued even after COVID — because everyone loves smaller lines, less crowds, and bigger discounts on tickets. The campaign won at the only two award shows it was entered into — even winning a California Tourism award over Disney Resorts’ COVID campaign “Together We Can Be Incredible” which featured all of their IP characters, celebrities, and millions of dollars more in marketing and production budgets.
