Background: Everyone builds a holiday wishlist so their family knows what to gift them.
For the 2021 holiday season, eBay wanted to tap into Pinterest β where savvy people already go to build their holiday wishlists.
Idea: We created the More the Merrier Gift Board, a first-of-its-kind sweepstakes as a holiday-themed Pinterest board filled with nearly 100 of the hottest products that fans could pin to create their own holiday wishlist. Three grand prize winners won their entire board worth up to $50k. Plus, we created a few instant-winners who won an item theyβd pinned the very second they pinned it. The more the fans pinned, the more chances they had to win.

Our Pinterest strategy targeted three different hot holiday product categories that consumers were searching for on Pinterest: home decor, childrenβs toys and fashion.
We searched for three prevalent Influencers (with significant followings on Instagram + Pinterest) to hit each category and help spread the word by building their own Pinterest Gift Boards
and sharing it with their followers. A few lucky winners also received personal gifts from each Influencer.

Complementary assets for a wider digital and social campaign.
Plus, radio ads! Broadcasted in select key markets + nationally on digital streaming sites: Spotify, Apple Music, and Pandora.
The campaign started in mid-October ππ±π» and ran until New Yearβs because people are crazy when shopping for the holidays.




π οΈ π§° 2021 HOLIDAY TOOLKIT FOR PARTNERS π§° π οΈ
The Many was also tasked with establishing the look of the holiday campaign, complete with a toolkit for internal eBay partners and external agencies.
The toolkit featured a campaign style guide with Visual & Verbal Identities outlined for applications such as digital banners, FB/IG/PIN in-feed + stories and a messaging matrix.
